As a Presbyterian church, we are committed and accountable to a wider family of congregations across Scotland called the Didasko Fellowship.

In common with believers across the world and down the ages, we joyfully affirm the ancient creeds and confessions of the Christian Church. We hold the Bible to be our supreme authority in all matters of life and faith. And we hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith as a subordinate standard.

Mark Ellis

Before joining Grace Church, Mark worked with UCCF, helping students in campuses across Scotland reach out in mission. He also worked with OMF in the UK, Singapore and Malaysia. Mark has grey hair and is therefore very wise. He is married to Joanne and they have three teenage children.

Mark’s primary responsibilities include teaching, training and team leading so as, ‘to equip the saints for works of ministry.’ (Eph 4.12).

Susie Ford

Ministry Associate

Without Susie, we would all eat much less cake. However, her main role is to work with women within the church family, trying to help them live and speak for Jesus in all of life. She also helps coordinate the deacons group and many of the practical aspects of church life. She hates writing blurbs about herself.

Susie is married to Mark (no, not the minister) and they have two children. She is also studying theology part-time with Highland Theological College.

Emily Brown

Ministry Apprentice

Although originally from Somewhere North of Aberdeen, Emily studied English Literature at Glasgow University. She moved to Dundee and was surprised to re-discover the sun. She spent a year working with students on UCCF’s Relay Programme, seeking to help them share the gospel on their campus.

Having now joined the Grace Church team, Emily still works with students and now teens. Her desire is to see them built up in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Emily studies part-time at Cornhill Scotland, where she is learning to understand and teach the Bible. She is on the right in this photo.

Peter McEleny

Ministry Apprentice

Pete came to Dundee as a student and never left. After studying Politics and learning how not to answer questions, he worked with students for a year on UCCF’s Relay programme. Pete is married to Natalie and they spend most of their time living like an 80-year old couple drinking tea and eating cake.

As part of the Grace church team, Pete will work with students and teenagers in the church, seeking to see them grow in knowing and loving Jesus.

Like Emily, Pete will soon be studying part-time at Cornhill Scotland in Glasgow, where for two years he will learn to handle and teach the Bible.

Elders & Deacons

Mark E, Will, Hugh, John, Mark T and David serve Grace Church as elders. As elders they lead the church and have responsibility for the oversight of everything we do as a church family.

Selu, Kathryn, Peter K, Margaret, Andrew and Paul serve Grace Church as deacons. As deacons they have particular responsibilities for specific areas of church leadership including catering, liaising with mission partners, Sunday Club etc.
